Warwick’s will welcome Kathi Diamant as she discusses her new book, Heart of the Zoo: How San Diego Zoo Director Chuck Bieler earned his stripes, in conversation with Chuck Bieler. In the 1970s, zoos had to evolve from their role as living museums to that of conservation centres. As executive director emeritus of the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance, Bieler has guided the zoo through these challenges.
