The event will continue on September 24-25 with a virtual fundraiser with Kendra Scott, exclusive offers at the Jupiter Outdoor Center and a boat movie at the Jupiter Pointe Club & Marina.

Friday and Saturday, supporters are invited to participate in a virtual fundraiser with Kendra Scott. Buyers can use the code GIVEBACK-AHKEL at checkout to purchase jewelry and support the collection center.

On Saturday, the Jupiter Outdoor Center will offer free and discounted rates on kayaks and tandem bikes to get supporters out. Just mention “Jupiter Recovery Day” when you arrive. Later in the day, guests are invited to take out their boats, kayaks or paddle boards to the Jupiter Pointe Club & Marina for a boat presentation of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. Admission costs $ 10 per boat, kayak and paddle board. Alternatively, moviegoers can rent a kayak for $ 40 via Paddle the Pointe on the Jupiter Pointe Club & Marina property. Event volunteers will be available to help anchor and launch.

“The idea of Jupiter Recovery Day is to bring together local businesses and community members in the name of healing from mental health and addiction disorders. There are a lot of happy, healthy and sober people living in this community, ”said Laura Kunz, Outreach & Community Liaison for Futures Recovery Healthcare. “They are parents, employees, business owners, philanthropists and students. It is important that we all come together in the hope that the unified message spreads to the many people in the Jupiter region who still need hope and encouragement to recover.

The events will also raise funds for Chasin A Dream Foundation, a local non-profit organization that provides one-on-one assistance to families with children struggling with life-threatening illnesses and disabilities. With the slogan “residents help residents”, the foundation shares the spirit of Jupiter Recovery Day.
