PRDBA announces the winners of the summer-fall photo competition



The winners of the Park Rapids Downtown Business Association (PRDBA) Summer-Fall Photo Contest are Duane Goeden of Park Rapids, Tracy Lund of Akeley and Craig Bihrle of Bismarck, ND

According to a press release from the PRDBA, the aim of the competition is to capture and celebrate the beauty and uniqueness of Park Rapids and its surroundings.

Goeden’s photo, “Going for the Gold,” won the Recreation category and was taken on the Crow Wing River.

Bihrle’s winning photo in the wildlife category is “Whitetail Doe in Fall, taken near Potato Lake. He also took the winning photo in the Main Street Scenes category, “Fourth of July Fireworks”.

There were 23 entries in the area lake scenes category won by Lund. His photo is “Beautiful morning for a kayak“.

Photo submissions are now being accepted for the winter-spring competition. Both amateur and professional photographers can participate. Contest rules, guidelines and photo entry form are all available on the website. The deadline for submissions is April 30, 2022.
