A brand new storage shed is the motivation for a ‘huge yard sale’ on Byng Street this weekend, with collecting goods being a big team effort. The Color City Dragons say their water sports club is looking for a shelter, which will house their dragon boats and related equipment. However, with the funds not yet there, each of its members decided to put together “everything from A to Z” in hopes of raising more money to go straight for it. “There will be plenty of choice including books, toys, clothing, bicycles, antiques, CDs, furniture, desks and shelves,” the club said. “Please bring cash for purchases on site and there is an ATM at the gas station… [there will be] lots of extra stuff that will catch your eye.” The sale will take place at 3 Byng Street in Orange for most of the day, opposite the United Orange Woodward Street (Pie Face) petrol station on March 12 from 6.30am Our reporters work hard to provide local, up-to-date news to the community.
