The Light Room at 306 Harrison Ave.  in Panama City will host an opening night from 4-6 p.m. for the "See in black and white" exposure.

Come admire the photographs and meet the photographers. Seeing in Black and White explores the medium of black and white photography through the eyes of 14 local photographers. Enjoy a kayaking ecotour on beautiful Lake Powell

The Friends of Camp Helen will be hosting a kayaking ecotour on Lake Powell from 9-11 a.m. at Camp Helen State Park.

9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Camp Helen State Park, 23937 Panama City Beach Parkway in Panama City Beach. Join Camp Helen State Park staff for a leisurely 90-minute ride on Lake Powell, the largest coastal dune lake in North America. Learn about the history, natural communities and wildlife that make this exceptional Florida water unique and important. A guided kayak tour is enjoyable for individuals, families and groups. Must be 12 years or older and able to navigate independently with their own kayak.

Cash-only fee is $30 and includes park admission, watercraft rental, life jacket, paddle, and donation to Friends of Camp Helen State Park. Space is limited and reservations are required. Call the park at 850-233-5059.

Boats and gear from outside the park are not permitted. Meet at the Visitor Center. Bring sun protection and drinking water. The program depends on the weather. If there is a chance of bad weather on the day of the program, call the park for more information.
