Crystal Mountain’s spring ski events include cardboard toboggan races, snow kayaking, goblets

TOMPSONVILLE, MICH. — Warmer days are coming, but you don’t need to pack up your ski gear yet.

This month, Crystal Mountain will mark the end of another ski season with March at the Mountain, with entertainment and special events that include Mardi Gras, St. Patrick’s Day, Spring Carnival and Easter celebrations. a “retro weekend”.

Each special weekend offers its own events and contests, plus additional activities such as fat bike rentals, ice skate rentals, snowshoe rentals, archery, horseback riding and outdoor laser tag.

March 5: Shrove Tuesday at the Mountain. A costume contest, DJ, live music and other events kick off the spring events at Crystal. Details here

March 12: Spring Carnival. Welcome spring with the Cardboard Classic Sledding Race, Slush Cup, Scavenger Hunt and more. Details here

March 19: Celts & Kayaks. Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day weekend with a slush cup, snow kayak race, DJ and more. Details here
