Craig P. Sauld

PEMBINE, Wis. – Craig P. Sauld of Pembine, Wis. died Friday, October 28, 2022 at Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center at the age of 88.

He was born in Racine, Wisconsin on March 22, 1934, to the late Leo and Emily (Certor) Sauld. Craig graduated from Horlick High School in 1952. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the Navy Reserves, serving for eight years.

Craig has always been an outdoorsman at heart and enjoyed every opportunity he could get to be outside. Hunting, fishing, camping, boating and golf were always fun. He also enjoyed cutting and working with wood.

Craig also had talents for taxidermy and cribbage, but his greatest talent and greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Craig will be sadly missed by his wife, Sharon; children, Jon (Susan) Sauld, Cindy Smith; grandchildren, Samantha Sauld and Cameron Smith; and many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, W8014 Minnie St., Pembine, from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, November 4, with the Reverend Lloyd Leo Luedeman officiating at noon. Burial will be in Pembine Cemetery.
