Albert William Doh, of Warminster, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2022 at Doylestown Hospital. He was 83 years old.
Albert was born to the late Albert and Ann Doh on July 26, 1939 in Philadelphia, PA. He grew up in the Lawndale section of Philadelphia and graduated from Father Judge High School. While on a double date with his friend, he met Rose Marie Amon and got married soon after. They moved to the suburbs in the early 1970s and eventually settled into their last home in Warwick, Pennsylvania.
Albert served honorably and conscientiously in the United States Coast Guard and Reserves from 1957 to 1965 (Vessel commissioned by the Coast Guard for Operation Bay of Pigs). He entered banking and worked his way up to commercial lending for PNC Bank, retiring in 2001.
In the years following his retirement, Albert found peace and comfort in spending time with his wife and family…in particular, Albert and Rose Marie loved spending time at their retirement home in Cape May, NJ , and in their second home in Florida. His love of boating led him to the seas where fishing became one of his passions for many years.
Albert is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Rose Marie, his devoted sons, Albert (Kathy), Steven (Kerry) and Eric (Karen), and his beloved grandchildren, Kelly, Jim, Nick , Chris, Aimee, Kyle, Olivier and Sophie. He is predeceased by his sister, Ann Woltemate, and is survived by his daughters, Janet and Linda.
Family and friends are invited to the celebration of Albert’s life on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Decker-Givnish Funeral Home, 216 York Road, Warminster, PA 18974. His memorial service will follow at noon.
Burial at a later date.
