As part of the H2O Adventures/H2O Adventures canal tours, you can paddle or kayak this hidden trail, a small section tucked under the Corticelli Lofts.
Speaking with Daily Hive, H20 Adventures says the path isn’t long but it’s quite magical.
You might even feel like you’ve been magically transported through the beautiful canals of Amsterdam.
As part of its tours, H20 Adventures offers SUP (stand up paddle) and kayak lessons as well as guided tours.
“Join us as we explore the beautifully restored and rejuvenated Lachine Canal,” says the company. Guests can also learn about the origins of SUP, proper equipment and safety requirements, different paddling techniques and the importance of stability.
According to H20 Adventures, paddlers and kayakers can discover the “interesting nooks and crannies that make up the historic ‘cradle of industrialization’.”
It also helps observe the majestic birds, turtles and beavers that inhabit the canal while enjoying unparalleled views of the Montreal skyline.
